Durmapress recently welcomed a delegation from Mongolia, marking their first visit as a new client specializing in construction and HVAC equipment. Their visit focused on evaluating our metalworking machinery, including the metal shearing machine, angle iron roller, 3-inch duct production line, press brake, and fiber laser cutting machine.

Client Background & Objectives

The Mongolian client, a key supplier of 3-inch ducts and structural components for infrastructure projects, sought equipment to enhance production efficiency. Their goals included:

– Testing metal shearing machines for cutting thick steel plates.

– Evaluating angle iron rollers for shaping 3-inch duct supports.

– Verifying fiber laser cutting machines for precision sheet metal processing.

Factory Tour Highlights

In addition, the customer showed great interest in our angle iron roller, which is perfect for forming angle irons used in construction and industrial applications. We demonstrated how it smoothly bends various metal profiles with minimal deformation.

The customer also reviewed our capabilities in fabricating 3 inch ducts, which are commonly used in HVAC systems. Our machines ensure high precision and airtight seams, which are essential in ductwork production.

Of particular note was the demonstration of our high-precision press brake, which features multi-axis control and user-friendly programming. This machine is capable of handling complex bending tasks with repeatable accuracy.

Finally, our Fiber Laser Cutting Machine was presented in action, cutting through stainless steel and carbon steel sheets with clean edges and high speed. The customer was impressed with its performance and ease of operation.

On-Site Order & Client Feedback

After in-depth discussions and hands-on evaluation, the Mongolian client expressed strong confidence in the quality of Durmapress equipment and decided to place an order immediately. This included multiple machines tailored to their production needs.The client placed an immediate order for:

– 2 units of 6x2500mm metal shearing machines.

– 1 angle iron roller system optimized for 3-inch ducts.

– 1 fiber laser cutting machine (3000W).

HVAC air duct manufacture automatic machine line is specially designed and produced for medium to large volume of production capacity air duct workshops and is used to work with the galvanized coil material and stainless steel coil material with weight up to 6-8 tons, thickness up to maximum 2.0 mm, maximum working speed up to 10m/min.

Besides this machine, other duct machines such as pittsburgh lock former for pittsburgh lock, drive cleat, TDF/TDC duct flange forming machine for roll forming of duct connection flanges, duct plasma cutting machine for particular workpieces cutting, pittsburgh lock seam closing/zipping machine and others will complete the rectangular air ventilation duct fabrication sequence.

The machine is composed with uncoiler, leveling rolls, beading rolls, cutting off and folding device. The uncoiler drives to uncoil the galvanized coil material or stainless steel coil material and feed it into leveling rolls, the pinch rolls and leveling rolls flats the material sheet, then notching for pittsburgh lock and TDF joint flange forming, cut them off with programed size of length, folding it to the final product.

The machine provides high efficiency production of straights air-ducts workpiece for further processing. The production process can be operated by one worker. The quantity and the size of the required HVAC ventilation duct workpieces are inserted directly through the Touch Screen of the controller with a convenient and easy to manage interface.

Duct manufacture auto line has a modular design which allows to use it in different configurations: feeding & straightening of the coiled metal, bending, punching, cutting-to-lenght and allows to upgrade to duct manufacture auto line V.
